Automated DDoS mitigation at the network edge with Nokia Deepfield

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are not going away — in fact, they have been growing in volume, watermark levels, and frequency over the past 18 months.

In this session, we will look at the latest trends in volumetric DDoS attacks aimed at causing major disruption and outages even within the largest service provider networks. From there, we will analyze the volumetric DDoS attacks key characteristics to understand what can service providers do about them. Furthermore, you will learn about the main steps involved in an auto-mitigation workflow: that is, how to start making your existing network assets a part of the solution, and moving towards a self-defending network.
