Hamid Ould-Brahim is Product Manager in the ION division at Nokia focusing on productizing software control combined with analytics for automating peering inter-connect developed under the Network Services Platform (NSP) combined with analytics such as NSP/Deepfield . Hamid has over 25 years of industry experience in telecommunications. He architected and pioneered a number of Internet related technologies and was a member of the first IETF industry design team that standardized L3VPNs technologies. Hamid holds over 100 patents worldwide that cover a wide spectrum of technologies. He edited and co-authored a number of IETF RFC standards and co-chaired successfully IETF routing area WG. Hamid was dubbed by Nokia in 2017 Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) and previously by Nortel as well in 2008 for outstanding achievements. In his previous roles, Hamid was a key technical driver for the unprecedented sale of Nortel patents for $4.5B to a consortium of top industry companies such as Apple and Microsoft.
